Pastor Otto's Biography

Timothy Otto was raised on the north side of Milwaukee, WI. He started his pastoral studies in Watertown,WI at Northwestern College in 1989. After graduating four years later he continued his studies for the ministry at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI.

In 1995 he recieved the call to serve for one year as a vicar in Guayama, Puerto Rico. Before going to Puerto Rico he went to Monterrey, Mexico where he was immersed in intensive Spanish training for six months. It was in his time in Monterrey, Mexico and Guayama, Puerto Rico when Pastor Otto fell in love with the Spanish language, the Hispanic culture, and above all, the latino people.

In 1997, upon graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Otto was called as Hispanic outreach pastor of St. Thomas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Phoenix, AZ.

In December of 2010 after over 13 years of preaching the saving message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the hispanics in Phoenix, Otto accepted the call to serve as the Spanish-speaking pastor of St. Peter where he serves the Hispanic community on the south side of Milwauke with that same soul-saving message of Christ crucifed and risen.

In February 2016, Pastor Otto accepted a divine call to serve Jesus' family of believers at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Las Vegas, with the mission to reach out with the message of Jesus' love for all people, particularly the Hispanic community in Las Vegas.
